The following is an assignment for my Design for Interactive Media 3 class. It is not a real advertisement though the links are live to go to the Greenpower website
BRIEF
Australia is going green. Sustainability Victoria is the client who needs an interactive banner ad. They have decided to fund a campaign to convert consumers to green power.
It will appear online on all power companies across Victoria and Australia. It will run for 3 months of summer during peak air conditioning periods. They are primarily targeting the Air conditioning market but secondarily targeting general power consumers too. Their PR department has purchased the spaces already and have decided to go for the Extra large skyscraper half page ad 480 x 600 for maximum impact.
The add will be not be rotating and be self-paced and controlled by the user. The first page will be static. It will require the user to click and navigate through the ad until the last page. The last frame/page will be click and go to the greenpower link [link] on Sustainability Victoria’s website. They want the viewer to travel through the ad in about 4 – 5 easy steps.
The style must be digital illustration. At this point they want a fun and warm tone. How will you use digital illustration to enhance this ad? Artwork and copy have been provided by below.
