It's been a while since I've submitted on dA (despite having a whole animation done, not proud of it and retouch before I will ever submit it) so I decided to do a nice bit of photomanipulation since it's been a while since I did one.

I decided for this piece I will only use features exclusive to Photoshop CS5 since it'll be a fun experimental process. This is what I ended up with.

I nice little forest with a lake overseen by a fairy-like creature, majestic meerely by whim.

In case your curious, the features I used were:
Mixer Brush
_{The achieve the painted look using actual images. A very fun tool, probably my favourite in CS5}
Content Aware Fill
_{Editing of so of the original images, particularly the lake for a nice little added manipulation. Note: this tool may in fact prove Adboe uses Witchcraft...}
Puppet Warp
_{New warp tool allowing you to edit and warp images based on inserting pin points (ie joint). The way a warp tool should work and it shouldn't have taken til CS5 to implement.}
Mask Edge Refine tool
_{Very, very useful method of masking fine objects such as hair as well as perfecting overall masking. Don't quite have the hang of it yet.}
